Good afternoon Traders! Another week has closed and hopefully, you’re all in the green or the very least still profitable. For those of you that don’t know what the weekly draft is the rules are simple. We choose five stocks based on articles and research from multiple sources and submissions from fellow traders on Monday that we think could have potential for some gains and draft them.
At the end of the week, we do the end of week draft and see if we were right or terribly wrong. Before we get into the picks of this week as always, I like to remind anyone reading that these picks are in no way a guarantee to financial freedom, and you could either lose some or all your money. Remember these are POTENTIAL gains that we pick at the beginning of the trading week and if you’re an experienced trader you know what I mean when I say anything can happen over the course of a week.
Now that we have that out of the way let’s begin with our first stock pick $ADMP.
$ADMP or Adamis Pharmaceutical Corporation opened the week out starting at $1.15 and closed this week with an unfortunate share price of $1.06 leaving it with a loss percentage of -4.50%. The pharmaceutical company was thought to be a potential buy when word got out that they were to begin testing their new antiviral drug that assisted with fighting upper raspatory infections like asthma and Covid-19.
Next on the list is $AA or Alcoa Corporation is an American industrial corporation that is the eighth largest producer and manufacture of aluminum. The stock price started at just $47.21 and ended this week with a wonderful share price at $49.50. This stock was a pick of my own because I was researching for calls on the beverage company Coca cola (Thank god I didn’t buy them) when I came across an article that Coca cola was suffering from an aluminum shortage that was causing supply issues. Needless to say, stock performed well with a total gain percentage of 3.73% this week.
Leading into the Big tech we’ve got $AAPL or Apple next on the list. Apple was a little bit of an oddball and I really wasn’t sure if it was even worth putting it into the draft but a lot of people asked for it to be included for both reasons some said with the reveal of the iPhone 13 and the fact it would have satellite calling making it one of the first commercially available smartphones that uses satellites instead of cell towers and then a lot of people were saying because of the trail with Fortnite that apple would come out on top which in a way they did, for the trail not their share price which ended with a grueling $149.00 a share. A massive dip from its opening price Monday which was $154.30 leaving with a negative percentage of 3.88%.
Still on the topics of phones $MSI or Motorola, sadly fell short and ended up in the red but wasn’t a complete flop only closing at $242.74 then its starting price on Monday at $244.68 which would give it a negative percentage of just 0.81%. Still unfortunate to anyone that had any hopes of their call options hitting the $245 mark but again way better then most of the stocks I’ve seen this past week.
Finally, we have what I can only describe as one of the most popular stocks to trade and truth be told I was pretty surprised that a lot of people wanted this in the draft, but you gotta give the people what they want and what they wanted was big daddy himself $TSLA.
That’s right Tesla the electric car manufacturing company that haunts every entrepreneurs’ wet dreams of one day owning one, ejaculated a very disappointing turn out this week opening at $740.00 and crushing it midweek all the way to $754 a share and then slowly trickling down to a grueling, lowly share price of just $735.15. leaving tesla with a negative percentage of -.071%. While tesla didn’t give the performance, everyone wanted that doesn’t mean tesla wont surprise us hopefully, in the near future.
And that concludes yet another Patriotic Bets End of the week draft giving this week’s winning title to AA Alcoa Corporation. Make sure to check back on Monday 8:30 am EST for the next draft picks.
